Deb decided to do this in hopes of discovering her new self. As she has been adjusting to being a widow for the last two and a half yrs and heading to retirement age.

She wants to discover who she is and what her future is.

She was pretty nervous as well as excited about the whole experience.

At her consultation we had laid out all the outfits we planned to use during our session.

On her special day she arrived with a full suitcase full of more outfits and props.

We started the session using some of the new stuff she had brought when I asked her... 

When are we going to use the outfits we had planned to use.

We put the first outfit on and I was like There She Is!! I told her how freaking amazing she looked and she looked in the mirror and repeated it back to me out loud agreeing how freaking amazing she looked.

The whole session turned after that as I saw Deb transform right before my eyes and the radiance on her face.

HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW THAT YOU HAVE DONE THE 40 OVER 40 PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

"The full day experience really was really a transformative experience!  I came late as a frumpy 61 year old widow with suitcases full of clothes and props.  Sheila and Tina were welcoming and I felt so comfortable in Sheila's home. The award-winning beauty artist Tina applied my makeup and did my hair in a cute modern style. Looking in the mirror, my mouth literally dropped I couldn't believe how good I looked!   That was only the beginning.  Sheila the photographer helped me select flattering outfits that fit my personality and body.  Sheila helped me see and believe I AM a beautiful woman newly energized to take on a new life."

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND OTHERS TO DO THIS EXPERIENCE?

"I would definitely recommend other women to do this for themselves.

Especially if they are at a crossroad in life or feeling "stuck in the mud". Highly recommend if someone is single or wanting to start to date again, when starting a new business or career, going back to school or getting married."
